The Meaning of Design
The term design traces its origins to the Latin word designare, meaning "idea" or "plan". At its essence, design can be defined as the intentional act of creation. For designer Feng Yu, design is the process of uncovering and generating value. It revolves around three core principles: communicating with clarity, solving problems effectively, and achieving a balance between form and function.
